Clinical supervision at Hassan Counseling is a reflective, collaborative, and growth-centered process designed to support clinicians in developing their clinical skills, confidence, and professional identity.
Grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and social justice–oriented practices, supervision goes beyond case review. It creates a space for critical reflection, skill-building, and meaningful dialogue about the complexities of clinical work—especially when serving diverse and underserved communities.
Supervision integrates evidence-based approaches, including CBT, family systems, and mindfulness, while also centering the clinician’s lived experience, cultural lens, and values. Emphasis is placed on ethical decision-making, clinical documentation, diagnosis, and effective interventions across settings such as school-based, outpatient, and community mental health.
