Training and Workshops

Community care is mental health care.

Training & Workshop Description

At Hassan Counseling, we believe healing does not happen in isolation—it happens in community.

This training explores how community-based support systems, cultural connection, and collective care play a vital role in mental health and overall well-being. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how social, cultural, and environmental factors shape mental health outcomes, particularly within immigrant and historically underserved communities.

Grounded in trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices, this training highlights the importance of shifting from an individual-only model of care to one that centers relationships, community resilience, and shared responsibility.

Through interactive discussion, real-world examples, and reflective exercises, participants will learn practical strategies to build stronger connections, foster trust, and create spaces where individuals and communities can thrive.
