Family Therapy & Couple Therapy

Family Therapy

Family therapy creates a supportive space for families to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and navigate challenges together. I work with families to better understand each member’s experiences, cultural context, and emotional needs, while addressing patterns that may be contributing to conflict or disconnection.

Using a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach, sessions may focus on parenting support, intergenerational dynamics, behavioral concerns, and healing from stress or adversity. I integrate play-based and developmentally appropriate interventions when working with children, ensuring their voices are heard and valued.

Family therapy is grounded in collaboration, compassion, and curiosity—supporting families in building resilience, restoring connection, and fostering a sense of safety and belonging within the home.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy offers a space for partners to reconnect, rebuild trust, and deepen understanding within their relationship. Whether navigating conflict, communication challenges, life transitions, or healing from past hurts, I support couples in exploring patterns with care and intention.

My approach is trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and relational, recognizing the impact of individual histories, cultural values, and systemic stressors on partnerships. Together, we work to strengthen communication, increase emotional attunement, and cultivate healthier ways of relating.

Couples therapy is not about blame—it is about creating space for honesty, growth, and renewed connection, helping partners move toward a more grounded, respectful, and fulfilling relationship.

Community workshops and trainings provide culturally grounded, engaging, and educational spaces where participants can learn, connect, and build practical skills for mental health, wellness, and community care. These gatherings bring people together to explore topics such as trauma awareness, resilience, self-care, parenting support, youth mental health, cultural stigma, and advocacy. Through storytelling, dialogue, reflection, and interactive learning, participants gain knowledge, confidence, and tools they can use in their daily lives and communities. These workshops create opportunities for healing, leadership, and empowerment while strengthening relationships, fostering understanding, and promoting collective well-being in a supportive and inclusive environment.
